Admission to the Engineering and Medical Colleges in Karnataka is through the Common Entrance Test or CET. A rank in the CET is computed by combining 50% of the Board exam marks with 50% of the CET test marks. Hence it is critical a student performs very well in the Board exam as well as in the CET.
