FMS – Foundation in Maths & Science

Foundation in Maths & Science program (FMS) is a two year program which offers students of Class 9 and 10 an extra edge in competitive exams. The thrust of the course is on the development of analytical skills. While the syllabus is similar to that of the CBSE, emphasis is on concept understanding and problem solving skills. After the theory in the chapter is explained, it is followed by a set of conceptual questions that requires a child to ponder on the real implications of the concept, followed by a set of problems which hones the student’s application skills. Students of the FMS program are encouraged to participate in International assessment tests such as the New South Wales or National Level Assessment Tests and Science Olympiads.

Course Structure

• 2 years intensive program.
• Classes would be conducted at the School / Open Centre.Â
• Duration of the class will be 5 hours for 25 days in the month of April/ May (during summer vacations).
• From June to October weekend classes will be conducted.
• Students will be extensively trained or prepared to answer MAT & SAT question papers.
• Extensive study material will be provided.
• Regular tests are conducted.
• Parents receive feedback on their wards performance.

Admissions

Enrolment is done at the school in the month of January/February.
